For more than a decade, Podiums Pros has proudly supported the Toronto International
Film Festival (TIFF) with VH1 Standard podiums designed to meet the demands of highprofile, media-driven events. These podiums have been used across numerous TIFF events,
press conferences, and public appearances, demonstrating long-term performance,
adaptability, and durability of our most popular product.
Challenge:
TIFF hosts a wide range of events, each requiring distinct branding and flawless audiovisual integration. Over time, frequent use can lead to wear and tear on event furniture. Rather than replacing existing podiums, TIFF sought a solution that would preserve their investment, maintain production quality, and align with their sustainability goals.
Solution:
Podiums Pros originally designed and manufactured the VH1 podiums in Canada with longevity and flexibility in mind. Key features include:
- Modular frame design that allows TIFF to easily change front branding panels for
different events and sponsors. - Integrated technology on the speaking surface, enabling AV teams to seamlessly support high-quality audio and visual production.
- Durable construction built to withstand years of repeated use in demanding event environments.
More than 10 years after the original delivery, TIFF reached out to Podiums Pros for podium repair services. Instead of requiring full replacements, we were able to refurbish the podiums by replacing only the damaged components.
